Kindness, Ziplines, and Baby Showers - Part 2 🙃

 Friday was Zome Conference, so we headed to Porto. I only understand 20% of it, but it’s fun to get together and see a few of the other couples.  And we saw Elder Q! We really miss him and his funny wisecracks.

After the conference, we went to an early dinner with the Bremner’s (they’re in the Azores) before we headed back to Vila Real.

On the way home, we could see the fires on the mountains. They’ve had to evacuate some of the people. We’ve had alot of smoke in our area and had to stay inside some days. Everything’s so dry, they need rain.

One sister’s house in our branch was pretty close to it and some of the members were getting worried. So President Hugo went up there at 1 am to check on her, took a picture of her house, and posted it on the branch chat to reassure everyone that she was ok. As dad would say, “He’s a good one.”

Saturday was Anastasia’s birthday, so we went stopped by to give her a present. They were just getting ready to go swimming. We gave her a silver heart necklace. She was excited and showed us that she has some heart earrings to wear with it. 

And then, Sunday night, one of our favorite things to do - we FaceTimed with you guys! 🥰 And Chad & Kalie told everybody that they’re expecting a baby!! Wahooo! 🎊

Chanelle finally had her postponed “white coat” ceremony 👏🏼👏🏼 

AND she and Jordan got engaged! 💖 

We’re missing all the action, but are sure grateful that we can call, text, and FaceTime with y’all!
